Douglas Chanco was admitted       practice      Georgia      2006. He has also been admitted       practice before        Georgia Supreme Court and        Georgia Court       Appeals. He joined The Hamilton Law Firm, P.C.,       an associate attorney      2008. Prior       this, Mr. Chanco served       an assistant solicitor general for        Fulton County State Court in        city       Atlanta, Georgia. In this position, Mr. Chanco tried         successfully prosecuted numerous criminal cases including DUI.

Mr. Chanco began his career as      certified legal intern        The Office of        Public Defender for        city       Jacksonville, Florida, where he participated in        defense       indigent individuals charged          major felonies         drug crimes. Mr. Chanco      certified by        National Highway Traffic Safety Administration      standardized field sobriety testing. This training, which      identical to        education police officers receive, allows him       identify improperly administered field sobriety tests      your Georgia DUI case. Mr. Chanco graduated from The Florida State University      Tallahassee, Florida, with      Bachelors       Science      Criminology         Criminal Justice      merely two and      half years time. He received his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School       Law,      Jacksonville, Florida,         was      Dean's Scholar. Mr. Chanco has been an active member       his community both as      mock trial team coach for        Georgia Bar Association's High School Mock Trial program         also achieving        rank       Eagle Scout while      member of        Boy Scouts       America. Mr. Chanco         his wife hail from Central Florida         proudly call North Georgia home. In his spare time, Mr. Chanco      an avid outdoorsman         enjoys        many art, cultural,         recreational opportunities available      North Georgia.
